Winning designs for park signs to be unveiled

Ten colourful signs, designed by Eastbourne primary school pupils, that encourage people to keep the town’s parks clean are soon to be unveiled.

The signs are winning entries from a competition run by Plastic Free Eastbourne and they will be located in parks across the town.

Winning artwork will be shown for the first time outside at a ceremony in Hampden Park, near the café, from 10am on Thursday, March 5.

All are welcome to join the Plastic Free Eastbourne event, which includes stalls and refreshments and is supported by Eastbourne and District Friends of the Earth and Eastbourne Borough Council.
