A bit about Faversham

Faversham is part of the Swale district and is situated 48 miles from London and 10 miles from Canterbury. Faversham Lies next to the river Swale which separates mainland Kent from the Isle of Sheppy. Faversham is home to the brewery company Shepard Neame, which is one of Britains oldest brewers and has been based in Faversham since 1698. There are many local attractions to visit in Faversham like the Chart Gunpowder Mills, Doddington place Gardens, Faversham Pools, Fleur de Lis Heritage centre and the Oare Gunpowder Works. There are also events held throughout the year such as the Faversham Transport weekend and The Faversham Carnival.
