A bit about Sandwich

Sandwich is situated in the South east of England and is within the district of Dover. Sandwich has many historical links and still has many historic buildings within the area. The fourth earl of Sandwich John Montagu said to be the inventor of one of Britain’s most popular lunchtime foods lived in the town. Rumour has it that he invented this type of food so he didn’t have to leave the gambling table. Sandwich has many places to visit such as The Guildhall Museum, Sandwich bay bird observatory trust, white mill trust and Princes golf club. There are many annual events that take place in the town Sandwich Food Fayre, Sandwich folk and ale festival, Le weekend and the little gardens of Sandwich.
