A bit about Romney Marsh Romney Marsh is known for its natural beauty, the diversity of its habitats, rich history, extensive coastline and its sheep. It is a sparsely populated wetland area that lies between the counties of Kent and East Sussex with 17 villages including Dymchurch and Lydd. With much to see and do, excellent accommodation, outstanding attractions, fine food and drink, varied walking routes and many sandy beaches, Romney Marsh is an ideal place to visit, explore and enjoy There are six primary schools in Romney Marsh and one secondary as well as many different sporting clubs including Dymchurch Cricket Club and Lydd Town Football Club. There are also many different social clubs for various ages, including Scouts, Guides, the Art Society and the Rotary club.
