Coming up at Basingstoke Blues Club

blues

The Basingstoke Blues Club often spoils us for choice, consistently enticing fantastic bands to their stage for our viewing pleasure, and the next two upcoming acts are no exception.

Saturday 26th October

Backbone Blues Band

Just back from their annual tour of USA, including the main stage at the Kingbiscuit Blues Festival, with tight rhythm sections, creative guitar and soulful vocals, they deliver a sound which grooves when it swings and punches well above its weight when it rocks.

Saturday 16th November

CROSSFIRE

Welcome back to local favourites CROSSFIRE. Prepare yourself for a superb evening, fronted by Marcus Praestgaard- Stevens, an extremely talented young guitarist and Alice Armstrong, an outstanding singer with an emotive delivery. They are backed by the solid rhythm section of Graham Walker on drums, who has worked with the likes of Gary Moore, BB King, Mick Jagger and George Harrison and ‘Steady’ Eddie Masters on bass who has shared the stage with artists including Jet Harris, Tom Jones and Lonnie Donegan.

As ever, both occasions run from 8pm till late, £8 on the door with a licensed bar with low prices.

All profits go to Brain Tumour Research (charity number: 1153487)
