Please meet in front of the Education Centre, Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve, Sopwith Way, Swanwick Lane, Swanwick, England, SO31 7AY

Please note the Education Centre including the toilets remain closed – hand washing facilities will be available in the woods.

Tissues will be provided for coughs and sneezes and a bin available for their disposal.

We will provide the equipment and demonstrate how to find minibeasts in a suitable distance, then leave you to discover the marvellous mininbeasts hiding in the woods.

Bookings are for one bubble at a time to enable social distancing (up to a maximum of 5 people) and clean equipment will be provided for each participating group taking part over the course of the day. When booking you will be asked to read and agree to our covid secure guidelines. For further details about how we will keep you, your family and our staff and volunteers safe whilst minibeasting please email [email protected] for a copy of our risk assessment.

Children will at all times be the responsibility of the accompanying adult(s), once we’ve got you started we will leave you to it, but be on hand to help with any identifying.

Sessions are available on a Friday for an hour, starting at either 10am, 11.30am, or 1.30pm. Session cost depends on the number of participants per group, please make sure you pay the correct price for the size of your group (includes adults and children) when booking. Prices are £12 for up to 3 people or £15 for up to 5 people.
