Silent mindful walk within a small group of like-minded people supported by a mindfulness guide.

Be guided on this silent mindful walk within a small group of like minded people, passing ancient sandstone outcrops and through ancient woodland. On this gentle therapeutic walk you will be joined by a trained mindfulness guide who will provide helpful techniques to put into practice throughout your walk. A short talk prior and a supportive sharing opportunity after the walk is included.

Recommended for anyone looking for support to calm an overactive mind, alleviate worrying or compulsive thoughts and bring a greater sense of being in the present moment. This walk is open to anyone but particularly welcome are those who may be suffering grief or distress at this time, parents and carers of children/adults with developmental disabilities and autism.

Event schedule

Meeting time: 10:00am

Introductions: 10:00am – 10:15am

Mindfulness talk: 10:15am – 10:30am

Walk start: 10:30am

Estimated walk finish: 12:30pm

Sharing opportunity: 12:30pm – 1:00pm
