Cleaning your home can be a time consuming task, especially if you’re always a busy bee and don’t have the time. But coming home to a clean house can help you relax, which is why many are meticulous about mess and dirt. So, if you’re always on the go but want to keep your home spotless, here are the five viral cleaning hacks to help you out!

1. Using bicarbonate soda to clean your oven and microwave

One viral cleaning hack you can try is using bicarbonate soda, which is useful if you struggle to clean your oven and microwave. Many people put in a lot of effort when cleaning their oven and microwave, but this doesn’t have to be the case if you’re in a rush. With this hack, all you have to do is make a paste with bicarbonate soda, Fairy washing up liquid and water. It’s good to note that any washing up liquid will do too!

This should be lined on the inside of your oven and/or microwave and left to soak. Using a bit of vinegar, you can then wipe the sides down. Easy-peasy!

2. Using bleach and toilet roll to remove mould

If you’re dealing with stubborn mould, don’t worry, all hope is not lost! Grab your bottle of bleach and pour some onto the mould you want to get rid of. Place a roll of toilet paper over it and leave it to soak overnight. Once done, you can then drag away the toilet roll on top, which should leave you with a spotless surface!

3. Using washing up liquid to clean your toilet

If you want to avoid using harsh chemicals to clean your toilet, washing up liquid will do the trick! Pour a good amount of washing up liquid into your toilet bowl and grab your trusty toilet brush. Scrub it as much as you want to clean it and then flush away!

4. Using washing up liquid and kitchen roll for Tupperware stains

Whenever we use Tupperware containers for lunch or leftovers, it’s always a pain to clean them afterwards. This is because they’re usually stained to the point where we can’t make them clean again. But don’t worry, there’s a hack you can try to counter this!

All you need to do is pour some hot water, washing up liquid and a piece of kitchen roll into the container. Put the lid back on, shake it for 2 minutes and then leave it to soak. The kitchen roll should absorb all the stains when you pour the water out, leaving your container all new and fresh!

5. Using baking soda to clean your sink

It can be hard to completely remove the stains and cup marks on your sink, but this cleaning hack might be your knight in shining armour! Make a paste with baking soda and washing up liquid. Once done, use a paintbrush to spread the paste out evenly around your sink. Use a half cut lemon to scrub your sink and it should be sparkly clean when you wipe the paste away!
