With so many local festival-esque events taking place, we have gathered the details for the hottest functions of the summer, whether you’re interested in dancing in the streets or snapping pics of retro cars. The Last Dance Festival at Dreamland Margate, Kent
Saturday 25th September 2021, 13.00 – 23.00
Lose yourself in a boogie wonderland with the views of Margate beach in the background and the music of Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada and other brilliant DJs playing, too! But the fun doesn’t stop there as you are also able to go on the rides at Dreamland, for the ultimate fun day out.

Classic, vintage, hotrods and old bangers are all on show in Palm Bay this September as metal heads and car-crazy folk gather for the highly anticipated car show, Oh So Retro! With music, merch and cars galore, this festival is a fun day out for the whole family.
British Kitesurfing Championships- Ramsgate, Kent
21st & 22nd August 2021
Head to the beach for a day of watching the Kitesurf Freestyle Championships where the UK’s pros will be showing off their best skills and tricks! This year has the addition of even harder events which will be a challenge for even the most experienced athletes! Not only are you able to watch the sports taking place, but there are also free taster sessions available for you to try out kitesurfing and sail into the wind!

Forest Family Fest- Reuthes Sevenoaks, Kent
27-29th August 2021 10 am-4.30 pm daily.
Enjoy the scenic settings of Reuthes, the Lost Gardens of Sevenoaks as you recline on hay bales watching the famous furry faces from Britain’s Got Talent or toe-tapping to musical performances in the main tent. Get involved with workshops in creative writing, forest bathing, cooking over a fire and so much more… or if you’re more culinary inclined than creative, there will be food stalls with Asian-influenced dishes and Kentish cocktails.

The Kent Food Fest – West Malling, Kent
21st & 22nd August 2021
Foodies from around the county will be gathering in the stunning grounds of Bradbourne House in the Mallings as they take a nibble of Kent’s finest food selection and a slurp of cider, all in aid of Children in Need. Not only will you be delving into the best of British food, but there will be two musical stages where unsigned musical acts will be showcasing their talent! Oh, and did we mention the disco dome and vintage steam funfair?!
