Blooming Bumps will be returning virtually on Monday, 5 October.

Sessions will run from 9.30am to 11.30am for 8 weeks, and will be held via Microsoft Teams.

Evidence so far suggests people who smoke may be at increased risk of contracting more severe symptoms if they get coronavirus.

Medway – Stay strong. Let’s fight cancer together

The Kent and Medway Prehab programme is a new service that helps prepare cancer patients before, during and after their treatment. It aims to get patients to their optimal health (both mentally and physically) before treatment, helping them cope with the challenges as well as aiding a faster recovery.

Our programme supports all cancer patients going through chemo, radio, immune and surgical treatments. Wherever you are in Kent, we will get you fighting fit.

Medway – Be a FluFighter: Get your jab done to protect yourself and others

Flu can affect all of us, but in particular it can make certain groups, particularly older residents, very unwell. Those most at risk include:

-Over 65’s (including those who have a respiratory condition)

-Under 65’s with a respiratory condition

-Pregnant mums 

If you’re in one of these groups, you’re entitled to a free flu jab. Now is the time to get that jab done. Contact your local GP or pharmacy to book your appointment.

If you have friends or family (particularly over 65’s), please encourage them to get their free flu jab. #JabDone
