Strictly Christmas Lights cancels Reindeer!

In view of the recent BBC News report of reindeer abuse, the Sevenoaks Town Council has taken the decision to cancel the hire of live reindeer appearing at the Christmas Lights Switch on Event on Friday 30^th November 2018.

Chris Wotton, Business Development Manager Pegasus Life, Renaissance Retirement quoted:

“…..it’s not your fault that the Reindeer had to be cancelled…. We are fully committed to Sevenoaks Town Council over the next 3 years and totally respect the Town Council’s decision, which is correct.  We look forward to working with you in the future and will be unveiling our Wilderness House Development in the New Year and look forward to at least a three-year relationship with the Town Council”
