collections

While work is being carried out to build the new roundabout at Barham, serving the Canterbury bound slip road to the A2, a temporary 40mph speed limit is being imposed by Kent County Council.

The speed limit is in force when the relevant signage is in place until the work has been completed. This is expected to be until 31 March 2019.

The compulsory speed limit of 40mph will be imposed in both directions as follows:

• A260 Old Dover Road – from a point approximately 500 metres south-east of the junction with A260 / B2046 Box Iron Road northwards to the junction with Gravel Castle Road

• B2046 Box Iron Road from the junction with A260 Old Dover Road northwards to the roundabout junction with A2 Barham eastbound off-slip.
