South Thanet MP supports Armed Forces Day and Parade at Ramsgate Harbour

Craig Mackinlay MP and Ramsgate’s Civic Party, including the Town Mayor, has joined the local Armed Forces, Ex Service Organisations and Cadet Forces at the annual Armed Forces Day celebration in Ramsgate.

The parade processed around the Royal Ramsgate Harbour along Military Road and Harbour Parade to the Drumhead Service area.

A salute was then taken outside Ramsgate Town Council office.

Craig Mackinlay MP commented:

“I was delighted to join Ramsgate Civic Party at the Royal Harbour in support of our Forces, serving personnel, veterans and their families on this year’s Armed Forces Day.

“It’s befitting that we have a day that recognises the professionalism, integrity and dedication of the forces community as they continue to meet all their commitments across the world while keeping us safe at home.”
