Residents invited to Sandwich Town Meeting to discuss Discovery Park

Residents are invited to come along to the Annual Sandwich Town Meeting, which is being held at the Guildhall in Sandwich on Wednesday 21 March from 7pm. The meeting incorporates the Sandwich Neighbourhood Forum, which is focusing on the 2020 Open Golf Championship and Discovery Park.

The Annual Sandwich Town Meeting incorporates one of the latest events to take place in Dover District under the remit of the Neighbourhood Forums.  The Forum will include updates on the Open Golf Championship, (with speakers Mark Batten, Chairman of the Royal St George’s Organising Committee, and Tim Checketts, Club Secretary of the Royal St George’s), and Discovery Park, (with speakers Toby Hunter, CEO of Discovery Park, and Max Hunter, Investment Director at Discovery Park).

The Neighbourhood Forum meeting will be jointly chaired by Cllr Sue Chandler, KCC Councillor for Sandwich, and Cllr MJ Holloway, DDC Cabinet Member for Community Services.
