Residents encouraged to share their views and aspirations for Medway’s future

Medway Council is inviting residents to share their views and aspirations for the future of Medway.

2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the formation of Medway Council, when the City of Rochester-upon-Medway amalgamated with Gillingham Borough Council. The past 20 years have seen a remarkable transformation in Medway and our ambitious plans for the next twenty will make Medway one of the most promising growth areas in the UK.  Growth for all – what we are aiming for – is good news for everyone in Medway and a more successful area means more jobs, increased investment, improved education and skills, more visitors and more money in the local economy.

Medway is now a great place to live, work, learn and visit and we want to spread the word to encourage more investment, more visitors and to attract more businesses to the area and we also want local people to be proud of Medway.

The council is inviting residents to help develop and shape Medway’s ‘story’ by answering a short online questionnaire to find out what makes Medway special and what they’d like to see in the future.

Residents and local businesses are encouraged to take part in the survey by visiting www.medway.gov.uk/apps/surveys/rcc/PlaceBranding/index.
