The route 69 open-top bus is back for Summer!

The open-top bus has returned to Thanet for the Summer, giving unrivaled views of the very best the island has to offer!

The hugely popular open-top bus will be returning to Thanet this year for an even longer season! Route 69 has been back since Good Friday 30 March 2018, running the same route as last season between Ramsgate Boating Pool and Broadstairs Stone Bay.

Operating dates:

Every weekend (including bank holidays) between: Sat 31 March and Sun 30 September

All week during school holidays: Summer – Sat 21 July to Sun 2 September

Plus special Fridays:

• Good Friday, 30 March
• Dickens Festival, 15 June
• Broadstairs Food Fair, 28 September

Ticket Prices:

For a ride on the open-top bus, you can buy a single ticket from the bus driver. This ticket is valid for a single journey the length of the route, or between any two intermediate stops.

Adult single – £2

Child single – £1*accompanied children aged 5 – 15 years.

Or why not take unlimited rides with the all-day ‘dayrider’ tickets – perfect if you want to hop on and off all day!

Dayrider tickets are valid on all Stagecoach buses in the Thanet travel zone.

Adult dayrider – £4

dayrider U19 – £3 (Available  for children and young people aged 18 years and under.)

Family dayrider – £8 (Valid for two adults and up to three children or one adult and up to four children)

You can get your dayrider ticket from the bus driver or  on the Stagecoach Bus App.

All concessionary passes are valid on our open-top bus at the standard times (between  09:30 and 23:00 Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on bank holidays).

Thanet megariders, South East megariders, South East dayriders and discovery tickets are also accepted and can be purchased on the bus.
