New grant scheme for Sandwich Community Projects

Green Initiatives Grant Programme

Apply for grants from £1,000 to £15,000

As part of the Legacy investment into Sandwich for The 149^th Open, The R&A has worked with Dover District Council, Sandwich Town Council and Kent County Council to establish a Green Initiatives Grant Programme.  £52,500 of funding has been allocated to support sustainability and climate change focused initiatives, which seek to enhance the local community and environment and deliver a long-lasting contribution to Sandwich.

The Green Initiatives Grant Programme will open for applications on Monday 2 March 2020 and close at midday on Friday 10 April 2020.
