The much-loved Artist & Makers Fair returns to Lewes Town Hall in December, with over 80 stalls showcasing an impressive range of unique art, crafts and gifts from local professional artists and craftspeople.

The opening event on the evening of 3rd December gives visitors the chance to buy from all the stalls first, whilst listening to music from a guest DJ.  Drinks and snacks will be purchasable from the bar.  This is a pre-bookable event for the first time this year and tickets are limited. The cost will be £5 and includes a complimentary ticket to the raffle.

Artist & Makers are delighted to have 27 brand new stalls this year, and welcome back to the fair the artist Helen Brown and the jeweller Lisa Hamilton, who have both been long-standing supporters of the event.

Features and news about Artist & Makers Fair 2021:

•       Children’s activities will run from 10am and this year volunteers will be helping children of all ages create colourful Christmas decorations.
•       The popular raffle is back and includes a range of gifts donated by many of the stall holders. 
•       By following Artist & Makers on Instagram and Facebook, followers will be able to keep in touch about the fair, see many items first and also enter a competition.
•       Breakfast items will be on sale at the café which opens at 9am and the fair encourages visitors to pop along early for their morning coffee and croissant.
•       Due to covid restrictions, the fair will have a limited capacity and the event organisers hope that visitors will show a level of understanding that this is necessary to help the event run under government guidance and safe conditions. There may be more queuing than usual, and the event organisers advise visitors to come earlier in the day to ease congestion.
