Lark in the Park returns to Ramsgate!

The ever popular Lark in the Park returns to Ramsgate on  9th-19th August 2018, and is set to be another fantastic event.

Lark in the Park is celebrating its 15th year this summer and is a fixture in the local communities summer plans, promising a huge programme that hosts something for every liking you will certainly not be disappointed when coming along. Lark in the Park is a gift to the community from local churches, providing a free event that has something for everyone.

All you need to do is turn up, register at the Check In Venue for a Park Pass wristband and join in the fun!

The event will be held at Government Acre, Royal Esplanade, Ramsgate, with the site opening at 12.45pm each weekday

 

What’s On?

Weekday Afternoons

Weekday afternoons at Lark in the Park are full of activities for all ages! We have venues ranging from a Toddlers group for the young ones, fun packed children or youth venues and Tea Rooms for those of us that want to take it slower. Whoever you are you can enjoy some time in the park and find a venue that suits you.

Fun Factory: Weekdays 1.45-3.45pm- Ages 0-4

Fun Factory at Lark is just what it says on the packet – a large tent filled with noise, laughter, fun and colour for toddlers and their families.

HQ: Weekdays 1.45-3.45pm- Ages 5-10

Explorers, are you ready? HQ needs your help! Come and join the adventure as we go on missions and conquer some crazy challenges.

The Vibe

Weekdays starting from Friday 10th August 10.00am- 12.00pm and 1.45pm- 3.45pm. Evenings (except Sundays) 7.30pm-9.00pm- Ages 11-16

Art Tent: Weekdays 1.45pm-3.45pm- All ages (under 11 with an adult)

The Art Tent is an incredible venue where you can come and enjoy being creative. You will need to book your free tickets on the day as spaces are limited and on a first come first served basis.

Park Life: Weekdays 1.45pm- 4pm- All ages

Park Life is our amazing outdoor stage led venue for people of all ages to soak up the fun Lark in the Park atmosphere! (Children under 11yrs must be supervised at all times)

Tea Rooms: Weekdays 1.45pm-4pm- Ages over 60’s

Packed with a fun, entertaining programme, the Tea Rooms is the place to make new friends, build community and maybe try things you might never have done before.

 

Weekends

2pm – 4.30pm

Fun Days for all ages full of inflatables, free hair braiding, free face painting, stage led activities and entertainment plus much more. On Sundays we have Church in the Park which follows straight after the fun day.

 

Evening Events: Gates open – 7.15pm, starts at 7.30pm till 9pm

This year at Lark in the Park we have Movie night showing The Greatest Showman Sing Along, Bingo Night, Quiz Night, Ladies Night (18+), Dads n Kids Night – Army theme, Thanet’s Got Talent, Youth Night, Circus Family Fun Night plus themed family nights out. Evening Events are all ticketed which you can either book online up to the evening before the event or from the Information area within Check In at the event from two days before the event you wish to attend. These tickets are completely free, offering the family a fun packed evening out.
