Havant Borough Council Christmas and New Year opening hours

A range of council services will be available over the festive season.  The Public Service Plaza will be open throughout Christmas and New Year, except for Bank Holidays.  

The opening hours for residents who use services based in the building, including Havant Borough Council and Hampshire County Council, are:

Monday 23 December – 9am to 5pm

Tuesday 24 December – 9am to 5pm

Wednesday 25 December – offices closed (Bank Holiday)

Thursday 26 December – offices closed (Bank Holiday)

Friday 27 December – 9am to 5pm

Monday 30 December – 9am to 5pm

Tuesday 31 December – 9am to 5pm

Wednesday 1 January – offices closed (Bank Holiday)

Thursday 2 January – 9am – 5pm – normal opening hours resume

The Visitor Information Centre at Beachlands will close at 5pm Tuesday 24 December and will re-open at 9am Thursday 2 January 2020.

In the event of extreme weather conditions residents should put their bin out for collection and we will collect as soon as is possible. Information and updates regarding this will be posted on our website at http://www.havant.gov.uk/ and social media platforms at regular intervals.
