A cook in your kitchen

Offering one-to-one tuition in people’s homes to help them reduce food waste and save money on food bills, the Cook in Your Kitchen project was awarded funding from our Waste Prevention Community Grant scheme. The fund is still open for applications. Find out if you could qualify for help to get your project started.

Stay Afloat to stay alive

Many young people are heading to beaches, rivers and lakes to swim or take part in water sports. This year in Hampshire, students in Year 8 and above, the age when many will start to enjoy their independence, have been learning some simple survival techniques for how to Stay Afloat to stay alive if they get into difficulties in the water. It’s the result of our unique collaboration with the RNLI and University of Portsmouth.
