Food & Drink Festival comes to Margate this weekend!
You may have seen the signs littering Thanet, but what exactly is the Food and Drink festival coming to Margate this weekend?
The Margate Food & Drink Festival will be held at Fort Crescent Margate, held over the first May Bank Holiday weekend, 4th– 7th May. The festival is free to enter and the opening times are as follows:
Friday: 5pm to 8pm
Saturday: 9am to 8pm
Sunday: 10am to 8pm
Monday 10am to 5pm
Zoom Events are thrilled to be able to include Margate as a venue for their 2018 Food & Drink Festivals. A fantastic line-up of stalls is planned and visitors certainly won’t be leaving hungry!
Expect to find pop-up kitchens serving mouth-watering street food from around the world, stalls selling delicious groceries and speciality drinks and a festival bar selling selection of craft beers and ales and ciders. There will be live music across the three days as well as fairground rides for the children and story-telling on the Saturday and Sunday.
The festival will feature hot food, a festival bar, grocery stalls, live music (such as The King Elvises on the Sunday), fairground rides, face painting and story-telling.
