Your chance to vote for your favourite country parks

Visitors to KCC’s award-winning country parks have the opportunity to show how much they love them in a poll being organised by Keep Britain Tidy.

The charity, which has awarded its prestigious green flags to all of the parks for which the county council is responsible, has set up a dedicated link on its website so the public can vote for their favourite parks.

KCC’s nine country parks are: Brockhill, Hythe; Grove Ferry Picnic Site, Canterbury; Lullingstone Country Park, Eynsford; Manor Park, West Malling; Pegwell Bay, Ramsgate; Shorne Woods, Gravesend; Teston Bridge, Maidstone; Trosley Country Park, Meopham; and White Horse Wood, Maidstone.

Stephanie Holt, KCC’s Head of Countryside, Leisure and Sport, said: “We are very pleased that the quality of facilities at our parks has already been acknowledged by the Keep Britain Tidy group which has awarded them all their green flags.

“If visitors to our parks are happy to vote for them in this poll, then so much the better.”
