Community grants of up to £5,000 now available

Available now – Each year Sevenoaks District Council provide community grants to support the work of voluntary and charitable organisations across the District.

Despite the Coronavirus pandemic, next year will be no different with the Council making £50,000 available in community grants to local organisations.

The Community Grants scheme supports volunteer-led services within the District that help the health and wellbeing of residents. Groups that fall into this category are being encouraged by the Council to apply for a grant of up to £5,000 to support their work.

Cabinet member for ‘People and Places’, Cllr Lesley Dyball says “I am really proud we are continuing with our Grants scheme next year despite the huge financial pressures caused by Covid 19.

“Our Grants have provided voluntary and charitable groups opportunities to improve the quality of life for many, especially our vulnerable, older and younger residents.

“I urge local groups to make the most of this wonderful opportunity so they can carry on their amazing work.”

To apply for a grant, visit our Community Grants page by the deadline of 5pm on Friday 13 November 2020.

Successful applicants will receive their funding by next April. For help with an application call 01732 227000 or email [email protected].
