Wildwood open a new wolf enclosure in time for Easter

The Wildwood Trust opened their new wolf enclosure, just in time for the Easter holidays!

Wildwood are enormously proud to announce the opening of Britain’s most innovative wolf woodland enclosure. A unique two-level woodland feature will allow visitors to venture into the heart of the wolf pack’s lair and experience what it is like to share the woodland with the wolves.

Local MP Sir Roger Gale and his wife Lady Gale officially opened the new woodland wolf experience to visitors on t Sunday 25th March 2018 at 12.30pm.

As well as this the Bears are back following their winter hibernation.

After their second successful semi-hibernation this winter, the bears will be released into their large enclosure at 11.30am on Good Friday 30th March and one lucky winner will be opening the door and letting them back into their expansive woodland home.

All visitors entering Wildwood before 11.00am on the day will be given a free raffle ticket. The winning ticket will be announced at the bear enclosure at 11.20am and the winner will be invited to pull the sliding door and release the bears! The bear bridge will also be opening for the summer, which gives wonderful views over the whole of their enclosure.
