National Poetry Day by The Grove Theatre

Poetry Day – The Poetry Café Eastbourne invites you to be entertained, moved and challenged by responses and reflections on this year’s theme of “Vision”.

National Poetry Day is the UK-wide annual mass celebration of poetry, taking place on the first Thursday of October that encourages all to enjoy, discover and share poetry, and experience poetry’s power to bring people together.

The theme this year is “Vision” and the Poetry Café Eastbourne has invited leading local poets to prepare and perform their works for you. Be entertained, moved and challenged… and above all, see the world through these poets’ eyes!
