Half term is almost here! Here are three great shows!
We have three fun family events coming up over the October half term with magic, Shakespeare and spooky goings-on.
Scroll down to find out more and book in your family bubble for a bumper half term. This year’s family programme is generously sponsored by Canterbury BID.
Bookings can be made online via our website or by calling the Box Office on 01227 457568, 11am – 4pm, Mon – Fri. Get ready to shiver, shake, shudder as Squashbox Theatre presents its first ever show for Halloween! Expect an overflowing cauldron of a show, brimming with delightful frights and hilarious horrors, flavoured with live music and songs, and topped with a sprinkling of slapstick and silliness.
The five-star smash-hit Shakespearience is coming to Canterbury Festival! Join Shakespeare’s Men as they fly through Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet and Twelfth Night in a whirlwind hour of mischievous storytelling.
Professor Palmermoff (aka Simon Palmer) has performed his magic show over 1000 times at parties, schools, cabaret, weddings, fayres, festivals and events of all kinds for 22 years, dazzling and amazing all along the way.
Due to the pandemic this year the Festival has lost 60% of its turnover – having fewer seats to sell, losing sponsorship, and competing for funding with so many other charities and good causes. By taking the decision to bring you this slightly smaller Festival in October, we will struggle financially. But we couldn’t imagine Canterbury without its annual arts celebration. Please help to secure the Festival by making a donation now – when we need it most.
