Christmas Tree Festival

Christmas Tree Festival

About this Event

St Marys Church, Battle, Christmas Tree Festival.

St Mary’s Church will once again be hosting a Christmas Tree Festival on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th November 2021.We would like to invite your Group or Organisation to display a tree and become involved with this special event.

We would request a minimum voluntary donation of £5 to enter a tree which be shared between our chosen charities for this year. The theme will be *** Lights, Camera, Action: At the Movies ***. Any film can be chosen but we ask for no horror or violent films-thank you. We will once again be including a fun quiz for children to do whilst they are looking at the trees on display. Each entrant will be given a letter to hide on their tree. The letter will be viewable without the need to touch any of the decorations; children then write down the letter and once completed it will spell out a message. Public voting for your favourite trees is back by popular demand too. Trees should be no larger than 6ft and any lights used will have to be battery operated.

The church will be open for the Festival from 11am to 6pmon Saturday 27th November with a Christmas Fair and again from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday 28th November. We aim to open the church for a few hours each day during the week so that we can welcome visitors and schools.

All funds raised go towards Busy Bees, the Mustard Seed Mission, Warming up the Homeless, Salvation Army and St. Mary’s church hall kitchen refurbishment.
