Winter Magic Wands at Samphire Hoe – cast some winter spells and create your own magic wand at the Green Gang event on Sunday 13 January

Come along to the Green Gang event at Samphire Hoe at 2 pm on Sunday and create your own magic wand and cast some winter spells.  Come in fancy dress if you wish as the event will be held in the cosy shelter – register here

Events this week include…

Saturday 12 January: Children’s Cookery Workshop – Teddy Bear Bread at Chequers Kitchen (booking essential) – An opportunity for children aged 8+ to spend a morning bread-making, making and shaping wholemeal bread dough to create two lovely Teddy bear loaves.

Sunday 13 January: Family Friendly Tour of Fort Burgoyne (booking essential) – Bring the kids along on an introductory tour of Fort Burgoyne. 

Up to Saturday 26 January: Exhibition ‘The Winter Group Show’ – See the new exhibition ‘Winter Group Show’ at Linden Hall Studio.

Up to Thursday 31 January: Exhibition at Samphire Hoe – Winter Tales – Come along to Samphire Hoe and discover local tales, myths and legends!

Saturday 19 January: Beginners guide to reading architects’ drawings – A fun, interactive session at Eastry Village Hall for anyone wanting to understand how to read architects drawings.

Wednesday 23 – Saturday 26 January: The Temple Ewell Players present Jack & the Beanstalk – Come to Temple Ewell Village Hall and see the Temple Ewell Players perform the much loved family pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk.

Wednesday 23 January: High Meadow and Whinless Down Walk – Enjoy stunning views and discover the beautiful landscape on this short walk.

Saturday 26 January: Sound Mirrors on the White Cliffs of Dover – Learn more about the history of the recently unearthed sound mirrors on the White Cliffs of Dover on this gentle walk.
