If something laid back is more your thing, there’s the on-going Jane Austen’s Reading exhibition that’s currently running at Chawton House, Alton.  The large Elizabethan manor house is where Austen’s brother once resided.  The exhibition looks at the books that Jane Austen would have had access to and those that influenced her writing.  You can find out more about the exhibition, here.
