People with dementia can soon enjoy cricket sessions with carers, friends and family in Havant.

Dementia friendly cricket sessions are being held each week from 2-3pm in the sports hall of Havant Leisure Centre starting Wednesday 6 November.

The activity requires no running, is very social and lots of fun! Everyone who attends is also invited to enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee afterwards.

To take part it’s only £2 per person, which can be paid on arrival at reception. Book now by visiting the Get up and Go website.

Havant Borough Council’s Get up and Go has partnered with Right at Home Havant, Dementia Friendly Havant and Horizon Leisure Centres to bring this accessible activity to the borough.

Get up and Go offers a variety of activities to residents aged 55 and above including pilates, golf, guided walks and much more. For details, please visit the Get up and Go website.
