Transform public transport – how do you travel?

Help shape the future of public transport by telling us how you travel.

Portsmouth City Council, Hampshire County Council and Isle of Wight Council are working with Havant, Gosport and Fareham borough councils to transform the area’s public transport.

The councils have united to bid for more than £100m from the government’s Transforming Cities Fund. As part of this bid, residents are being asked for their views and experiences of public transport.

An online survey can be completed by clicking here. This survey will close on Sunday 13 October.

Collected responses will inform plans for a new public transport system. This could include a new rapid transit system which would better connect different modes of transport such as rail services, bus services, pathways and cycling routes.

Councillor Tim Pike, Cabinet Lead for Planning, Regeneration and Communities said: “If successful, this bid could lead to public transport improvements not just within our borough but across the Solent area. Residents can help shape these plans and become part of the conversation by completing the survey.”
