Ongar family helped by Epping Forest Reuse
Recently, a family of five from Ongar suffered the tragedy of having their house destroyed by a fire. They were left with no home and no possessions. Within a few days the family were able to rent an unfurnished house in the area.
Epping Forest Reuse made use of its van to collect and deliver items, including two sofas, three beds and mattresses, a dining table and chairs, dressing table and various items of kitchen equipment. Alongside generous local people, the family were supported through this difficult time. That’s why supporting your local furniture project can make a huge difference in your community.
