Thousands to see Ramblin’ Man Fair

Thousands of people are expected at the picturesque Mote Park, Maidstone this weekend for ‘Ramblin’ Man Fair’.

Now in its fifth year the festival has grown ever more popular, bringing around 37 rock and blues bands, along with their followers, from all over the world to the county town of Kent.

The festival attracts thousands of event goers with many using local accommodation and getting out and about in the town, using pubs, clubs and restaurants.

Starting on Friday 19 July The Darkness are the headline act with Black Stone Cherry taking main stage on Saturday 20 July. On Sunday 21 July Ramblin’ Man Fair welcomes Foreigner, one of the most popular rock bands in the world, now celebrating over 40 years in the business with 16 multi-platinum albums and 16 top 30 hits.

As well as an amazing line-up of bands, Ramblin’ Man Fair offers the very best in food and drink, along with stylish accommodation including Glamping and Camping.

Cllr Paul Harper, Chair of Economic Regeneration and Leisure Committee at Maidstone Borough Council said:

“It’s an absolutely brilliant weekend of live music and really wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves in our own home town.“The festival is a key event in Maidstone’s busy events calendar. There are still tickets available if anyone wants to come along and see for themselves.”
