Take part in the Mayor’s charity golf day

The Mayor of Havant, Councillor Diana Patrick, is hosting a special charity golf event to raise funds for her charities.

Keen golfers are invited to join the mayor and fellow councillors at Waterlooville Golf Club, Cowplain, PO8 8AP, for the event on Tuesday 18 June. Entrants will tee off from 11.30am before driving, chipping and putting their way around the 18-hole course.

Each entrant will play a round of golf and enjoy a two-course meal at the presentation dinner held afterwards. The ticket price, of £47 per person, includes a donation to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund which supports the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) and Dementia Friendly Hampshire.

If you would like to take part, please complete and return the entry form – available from the Havant Borough Council website – together with payment.

The deadline for receipt of entries and meal bookings is Saturday 8 June 2019.

If you are not a keen golfer but would still like to be part of the day, why not sponsor a hole. Your logo and company name will be on display at your sponsored hole throughout the day acknowledging your support.

The Mayor of Havant said: “This exciting event will help raise much-needed funds for my chosen charities and should be a lot of fun for everyone who enters.

“Even if you don’t play golf, you are more than welcome to sponsor a hole or join us for the presentation dinner where a lovely two-course meal will be served. All the details can be found on the entry form. I look forward to meeting everyone.”
