Summer Cocktails list launches at the Pearson’s Arms

If you’re heading down to Whitstable this summer be sure to pop into the Pearson’s Arms to raise a glass of Whitstable sunrise, Pineapple and Blood Orange Gin Martini and Frozen Lemon Margarita. Or for the Oyster lovers try the Whitstable Rock Oyster Cocktail.

Overlooking the beautiful Whitstable seafront, the mixologist team has been creating a range of new cocktails for every heat-filled occasion.

The Frozen Lemon Margarita brings a zesty twist to a classic. Combining the traditional Cazabel white tequila and Contreau then adding limoncello, fresh lemon juice, crushed ice and topping up with lemonade. This will keep you refreshed whilst not straying too far from a quintessential thirst-quencher.

Escape at the end of the day with the Pineapple and Blood Orange Gin Martini, using Cointreau, fresh lime juice, Malfy blood orange gin, ginger liquor and shaken with pineapple juice. Guests can unwind whilst sipping this spicy tropical blend and watch the sunset over the Kent coastline.

Looking for a fruity kick with no alcohol? Try the Whitstable Sunrise, with orange juice, pineapple juice and grenadine. Simple ingredients, but just as exciting as its boozy counterpart, guests can soak up the sun with this fruit infusion.

Those familiar with Whitstable will know the importance of local oysters and this has influenced the team at the Pearson’s Arms when crafting the Whitstable Rock Oyster Cocktail. Silvery patron tequila mixed with fresh lime, a dash of triple sec and a dash of tabasco all finished off with a PGI Whitstable Rock Oyster to compliment the explosion of flavours.

The Pearson’s Arms is located on the seafront in Whitstable and prides itself on using fresh ingredients and locally sourced food in its seasonal menus. As well as the summer cocktails, the bar serves fine wine, local ales and spirits. Experience live music on Sunday and Tuesday evenings as well as the last Friday of the month.
