Social Media & Marketing Assistant

Full Time/ Permanent – £19,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Media and Marketing Assistant to join one of the fastest growing news and media companies in the South East of England, based in Margate.

CommunityAd is an award winning and highly successful publishing house that produces community news and publications across a wide portfolio both in print and on digital platforms throughout the UK.

With over 60 established community magazines across 5 counties. We are forward-thinking and encourage innovation and experimentation with new marketing trends.

You’ll be joining a fully established successful company and will be working as part of a friendly motivated close knit team, you will play a crucial role in the operation of our social media accounts and marketing channels.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and help build social media accounts.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials, including marketing copy and campaigns.
  • Plan, develop and deliver high-quality, engaging campaigns to attract new users and boost community engagement
  • Help Build Brand Strategy: Analyse business and consumer trends
  • Assist in the creation of e-mailers, and website content
  • Create data and reports for marketing managers and directors.

You Will Need

  • Sound understanding of social media industry and platform trends.
  • Good creative and copywriting skills.
  • Excellent writing ability with accuracy
  • Attention to detail with good editorial judgement

  • A degree or equivalent from a recognised institution in marketing or digital marketing, is an advantage but not essential.
