Shared Ownership Event to Help People in Dover District Get on the Property Ladder

Do you want to find out more about shared ownership properties – a free Shared Ownership Drop-In Event is being held from 4pm-7pm on Thursday 2 April at the DDC Offices in Whitfield. 

The event is being hosted by Dover District Council, in partnership with affordable housing providers Moat Homes, Town and Country Housing Group and West Kent Housing Association. Visitors will be able to find out more about shared ownership through short presentations and displays from affordable housing providers. Experts will be on hand to answer questions about shared ownership in general, eligibility for the properties, potential costs, and the properties available locally.

Shared ownership is one of the Government’s low cost home ownership initiatives, which is designed to make it more affordable for people to get onto the property ladder.
