Ashford Borough Council – Searching for a new job?

Are you looking to do something new ?

If the end of the summer holidays means that you’re looking for a new job, The Job Club could help you.

From 23 August the club will run on Monday afternoons and Friday mornings, in the IT suite at Ashford Gateway Plus. It is open from 1-4pm on Mondays and Friday 9.30am to 1pm.

The Job Club is free to attend and you don’t need an appointment.

Staff can help with:

• Online job searches and registering with online job sites
• Creating email accounts
• Creating and updating your curriculum vitae (CV)
• Completing applications forms
• Interview skills and techniques
• Careers advice
• Other job search activities

The Job Club is an initiative set up and run in conjunction with Ashford Borough Council, Southern Housing Group and Ashford Gateway Plus, with the assistance of a volunteer provided by the Volunteer Centre.
