Say what you sea! – tell us how you enjoy Hayling Island seafront

SAY WHAT YOU SEA: Havant Borough Council is asking residents, visitors and tourists how they use Hayling Island seafront.

The island has more than three miles of beautiful beaches – used for all kinds of activities from kitesurfing and sailing to enjoying traditional fish and chips by the sea.

To maintain, manage and improve the seafront, HBC would like to understand more about how the different parts of the seafront are currently used, by who and at what times.

The council is also looking to the future, asking about the activities and facilities people would like to see along the seafront in the future.

Councillor Tim Pike, Cabinet lead for Planning, Regeneration and Communities, said: “Hayling Island seafront is enjoyed by thousands of residents, visitors and tourists every year.

“This survey will help us plan how to get the most out of the seafront in the present and future, making it the best it can be for everyone who visits.”

To be part of the conversation, a short survey can be completed at www.havant.gov.uk/hayling-seafront-say-what-you-sea.
