Have your say on parking changes

Dozens of roads could see new sets of single and double yellow lines, pavement parking bans and other parking restrictions under proposals out to public consultation today (Thursday 24 January).
Each year, the council receives requests for changes to parking from residents, councillors and organisations, which are considered as part of the Annual Parking Review.
Chairman of the council’s Regeneration and Property Committee, Cllr Ben Fitter-Harding, said: “The Annual Parking Review is one of our most important consultations of the year and affects a large number of roads in the district.
“A proposed solution in one road may have a knock-on effect further down the road or in another street, so it’s really important to hear the views of the wider community before we make any changes.
“As always, we’d urge people to take a look at the proposals and let us know what they think before Friday 15 February.”
Any objections received will be reported to the CanterburyHerne Bay and Whitstable forums and the Joint Transportation Board on Thursday 21 March where councillors will decide which of the proposals to implement.
View the consultation and have your say.
