Sandwich Festival is an extravanganza of free entertainment in the Town Centre and on the Quay Green.

Highlights include:

Saturday – Carnival Queens parade and free outdoor concert; Barn Dancing in the Street;

Sunday – ‘Let’s do Vintage’, Italian Market; Dance Schools showcase; Futures for Dogs annual Fayre, Salsa Dancing, street family disco; music on the Green

Monday – Classic Cars, Sandwich Town Monday Fayre, duck race; Illuminated Boat parade with fireworks.

A medieval encampment on the Quay Green on Saturday and Sunday plus a procession through town on Sunday will be part of the 800th Anniversary of the Battle of Sandwich.
