Sandgate Sea and Food Festival 2019

The Annual Sandgate Sea and Food Festival will be held again on the August Bank Holiday weekend 24/25 August 2019

On Saturday August 24^th 2019 there will be food outlets, music and a firework display during the evening.

On Sunday August 25^th 2019 Sandgate Sea and Food Festival will take place on Granville Parade extending down to Sandgate Castle between 11 am and 5 pm including the Castle Road Car Park. This will be closed to all traffic on the Saturday and Sunday .24/25 August 2019.
A Road Closure Notice has been issued for the following roads:-
Granville Road West
Parade Road
Granville Road East
Granville Parade
Castle Road Car Park
With this Road Closure Notice there is also a TSO ( a notice to suspend Parking Order). This will cover the four roads and Car Park during the same period as the Road Closure namely:
8 am Saturday August 24^th 2019 until 5 pm Sunday August 25^th 2019.
These orders have been issued by Kent County Council and will be enforced by Folkestone and Hythe District Council (Traffic Wardens) There will be two Sea Festival Security Guards on duty for the full period including all night cover.
We apologise for any inconvenience, however, alternative parking is being provided by  SAGA in Embrook Park during the period of these orders
Any car parked during this period will be liable for a Parking Fine issued by enforcement officers. This being a Health and Safety issue these orders will be enforced.
