Revival Card Payment Retrieval

A charity run Whitstable based café described on TripAdvisor as a ‘Spectacular social enterprise’ is urging customers to come forward as they experienced card payment failures.

Revival which serves ‘delicious and surprisingly affordable’ vegetarian food and ice cream posted the following on its Facebook page on the 26^th August at 20:30.

“Dear Lovely customers, unbeknown to us our card machine has not been connecting to our till so although the till shows payment taken, they unfortunately have not been”. Resulting in no payments going through since four pm (16:12 to be exact).

“We would therefore really appreciate it if customers who paid by card could double check their bank transactions and if payment wasn’t taken we would be really grateful if you could either pop into the shop or phone up to make the payment due. Really sorry for the inconvenience and thank you all in advance.”

The café which is run by mental health charity Mind in Bexley was celebrating its one-year anniversary in the town, the Caribbean-themed night consisted of live music DJ’s and a street food menu.
