Parksport is back!

parksport is back!

parksport returns for 2017, bringing fun, informal sports to parks and open spaces across Medway.

Drop in, have fun and try lots of different sports in a park near you this summer.

No booking, no commitment, no pressure and no equipment needed. Just pitch up to play and let our parksport coaches look after the rest.

The parksport programme includes weekly multi-sport sessions as well as weekend parksport Festival days.

Sports on offer vary week to week and include archery tag, NFL American football, pop-up tennis, parkour, softball, soccer and frisbee.

  • Queen Elizabeth Fields, Gillingham – Mondays 7.15-8.15pm (8 May-28 August)
  • Northcote Recreation Ground, Strood – Tuesdays 5.30-6.30pm (9 May-29 August)
  • Broomhill Park, Strood – Tuesdays 7.15-8.15pm (9 May-29 August)
  • Strood Sports Centre – Wednesdays 7-8.30pm (3 May-6 September)
  • Great Lines Heritage Park, Gillingham – Thursday 6-7pm (parksport and parkour) (4 May-7 September)
  • Rochester Castle Gardens – Fridays 10-11.30am (28 July – 1 September)
  • Palmerstone Road/Maidstone Road Recreation Ground, Chatham – Saturdays 1-2pm (6 May-2 September)
