Ninth annual KCC rail summit takes place next Monday!

 Kent County Council will host its annual rail summit at County Hall, Maidstone at 6pm on Monday, May 15.

Speakers at the rail summit this year include David Statham from Southeastern, who will talk about recent developments and plans for the current franchise.

There will also be a presentation by Guy Schofield and Sarah Deakin on the work of the Kent Community Rail Partnership.

Finally, Stephen Gasche, KCC’s principal transport planner for rail, will set out Kent County Council’s plans for the new south eastern rail franchise, due to start in 2018.

It takes place in the council chamber.
