The Medway Blossoms garden competition 2019 is sponsored by Gian Chahal, McDonald’s franchisee for the Medway Gate and Chatham restaurants.

Mr Chahal presented Mr Hodges with his prize on Wednesday, 19 June, as well as an engraved trophy.

Cllr Rupert Turpin, Medway Council’s Portfolio Holder covering Community Wardens, said: “Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Medway Blossoms competition. We’re pleased to be able to recognise all the hard work residents put in to maintain their front gardens. We work hard all year round to keep Medway clean and green and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who takes part in community litter picks with our wardens and all of the residents who take pride in where they live. Together we can keep Medway clean and tidy.”
