As a family run company with over 60 years’ experience in the Care industry, we at SilverBirch Healthcare have the knowledge and expertise to support you and your loved ones with all your care needs from a little extra help with the shopping to full time Live-In care.

We have been providing home care in Bromley, Dartford, Sidcup, Swanley and the surrounding areas for over 10 years and have an amazing team of carers dedicated to providing you with the best possible care, all in the comfort of your own home. Recently, due to increased demand, we have opened a second office to allow us to provide care in Bromley and the surrounding areas.

Here at SilverBirch Healthcare, you also have peace of mind as we are CQC regulated and also members of UKHCA – the homecare professional body as well as being members of the Dementia Action Alliance.

We are dedicated professionals in care

Many of our customers want to remain in their own homes as it’s where they are most comfortable. The care SilverBirch Healthcare offers is tailored to each person’s needs and situation, and is designed to give our clients the best possible care in the comfort of their own home in Dartford, Bromley and in the surrounding areas.
We can offer care packages starting from as little as a 15 minutes (a reassurance call to ensure all is well while family members are away) to full time live in care providing round the clock support. The one to one care we provide is through carers trained to support and promote as much independence as possible thereby allowing our customers to enjoy the homes they have come to love.

Our home care service covers cleaning, companionship, housekeeping, medication, shopping (including medication pickups), assisted hospital visits and Personal care. We also work with a local council approved pharmacy who will even deliver your medication right to your door.
The care plans we initially put in place can be changed as many times as needed to ensure that all the needs of the customer are met, especially as these needs may evolve over time.

One area of focus of late has been Palliative care. We have supported several CCG’s, as well as private customers, to help customers in their final days achieve the comfort they deserve. The support we provide is to the family as a whole, and not just the individual as we understand that this is a daunting time for all involved.

Live in Care enables the customer to remain in their home with full time support. At SilverBirch Healthcare, we work with our clients to ensure that the live-in carer is right for them. We hope that they will become part of your family.

A full no obligation assessment will be carried out to tailor the care plan to the customers individual needs with all costs explained.

The customer will be given carer profiles to enable them to make an informed decision on which carer they feel will meet their needs.

The customer care journey can then being and regular contact with the care manager will

be ongoing to discuss any changes in their circumstances or needs.

Do you think you have what it takes to become a carer?

At SilverBirch Healthcare our success is based on the care our carers deliver. We want to make sure that they are equipped to deliver the best care possible. All our carers complete their care certificate with us, and are then given extensive additional training on such things as Medication, First Aid and Dementia.

Our training is delivered in-house by our own trainer in our fully kitted out training facility. Specific additional training is given to those carers working with clients who have additional needs, such as Parkinsons, Alzheimers as well as End of Life care.

SilverBirch Healthcare is a family run company. We want the carers to feel that they are part of the family too. There is an open door policy for all carers to contact us with any problems or concerns. Or just to pop in for a cup of tea and a biscuit if they are passing. To further support our carers, we also having a 24 hour on call service to support all staff.

There is no set amount of support we can provide. We believe that the care needs to suit the persons changing needs and be flexible to fit around family life. Our approach to care is designed to ensure that people are staying as independent as possible. We strive for people to remain in their homes for as long as they like.
