We are an established and experienced independent foster care provider. We are based in the South East of England and cover this area.

Lighthouse fostering is an independent organisation that was started by foster carers and care leavers. Lighthouse ethos has always been to offer therapeutic based individualised person centred care for the children and our carers.

This is achieved via our therapeutic development course coupled with our comprehensive training and development programme for our carers, Also importantly with the support and guidance from our experienced team working along side you. This allows you to work in a understanding and supportive manner to achieve the very best outcomes for the children and young people in your care.

At Lighthouse we feel that we offer a safe, supportive and secure environment for our staff to flourish. We have a culture that encourages openness and transparency and we work to achieve high professional standards. Staff are encouraged to attend regular training to develop their knowledge base and skills.

All staff including administrative staff have regular professional supervision, with the registered manager to enable them to explore any concerns or worries, thus ensuring a strong workforce who are then able to support carers in the challenging work that they do.
