Abbeyfield Archer House

Abbeyfield ‘Archer House’ was purpose built and opened by the Princess Royal in 1986. The 10 room are situated very close to Billericay High Street, near to the main shopping area with all its amenities. This gives residents easy access to shop, meet friends and family, and generally get out and about.

We pride ourselves on creating an environment that attracts people who appreciate the sense of community that we provide, and at a cost that represents extraordinary value for money. Communal laundry facilities are provided.  Abbeyfield Billericay Society manages Archer house and its team.

Rooms are tastefully decorated so all our residents feel at home. Most of our rooms are unfurnished so you can bring your own furniture and most treasured possessions. Residents enjoy independence and privacy combined with support, companionship, and home-cooked meals. Residents furnish all rooms personally and each space is equipped with a lock and key. We are currently installing Alexa devices in each room.

We welcome people aged 55+ who feel that they no longer wish to live alone. Abbeyfield assisted living is happy to provide assisted living for the fit and able elderly residents to help combat loneliness and isolation by offering a community environment.
